Makeup Services & Prices

Airbrush makeup - this is now the most requested application for bridal makeup. The foundation is applied in a super fine mist via an airbrush gun resulting in a beautiful flawless finish and even coverage. Airbrushing is great for brides wearing strapless gowns who may have strap marks from the sun or perhaps blemishes over their decolletage area. The fine mist provides a beautiful overall semi matte/semi dewy finish and healthy glow. The foundations used are oil-free, quick setting and long lasting. They look beautiful up close and photograph well. All foundations used by Makeup 4 Brides are low in titanium dioxide and iron oxides so there is no 'flare' against a flash which is often the cause of the face appearing whiter in photos. Mineral makeup and foundations with sunscreens are to be avoided for photographic work because of this.

Mobile service - we offer a fully mobile service and come to you wherever and whenever. Our prices are all inclusive and include travel to within a 30 minute radius of each base location. For example: through the Sunshine Coast travel is included from Noosa in the north to the Glasshouse Mountains in the south, and the Blackall Range towns of Maleny, Montville and Mapleton, right out to the ocean. Brisbane travel is calculated from Brisbane CBD, Gold Coast travel is calculated from Surfers Paradise and Tweed Coast travel is calculated from Tweed Heads. We do travel further afield however a small additional travel fee may be required. Any applicable travel fees will be quoted to you on your written quote.

Our pricing philosophy - At Makeup 4 Brides we have 'one price for all' for each wedding day service. This means that we DO NOT charge the bride extra or charge more for a wedding than we do for a school formal or any other makeup we do. Our prices are 'per person' and you pay simply for the service required, with GST included. There is also no extra booking fee involved.

Trials - we do offer a reduced price trial for the bride which takes approximately 1 - 1.5 hours. At the trial we discuss your wedding, colours, the look you are wanting to achieve as well as how much makeup you are comfortable wearing. We would then take a 'before' shot with a digital camera; do your makeup; then see what you like, don't like, if you want more or less, so that we get it right for you. We then take an 'after' photo which we will show you on the day to see if there are any final changes you wish to make. Many brides prefer to have a trial before their wedding day to put their minds to rest. However if you choose to have our team only attend on your wedding day we will allocate a little extra time so that you can rest assured that you will be getting the look that you are after.

Prices are 'per person' based on a minimum of 3 people. Please contact us for our prices for 1 or 2. Prices include GST and travel throughout the Sunshine Coast (approx. 30 min radius of Buderim), Brisbane (approx. 30 min radius of CBD) for our Brisbane based makeup artists and Gold Coast (approx. 30 min radius of Surfers Paradise) for our Gold Coast/Tweed Coast based makeup artists.**

**In the event that a makeup artist from one base location is already fully booked another will be offered to you however a travel fee may be applicable. This would be fully quoted to you in the first instance, if required.
